Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Jobzz AI mobile application (“the App”), which is operated by Upix AB (organization number: 559484-5173). By registering an account or using the App, you enter into a binding agreement with Upix AB (referred to as “Jobzz”, “we”, or “us”) and agree to comply with these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the App. For any questions or concerns about these Terms, you can contact us at contact@jobzz.se.
1. Scope and Acceptance of Terms
● Acceptance:By downloading, registering for, or using the Jobzz AI App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. This agreement applies to all users of the App and covers all features and services provided through the App. Using the App signifies your ongoing acceptance of these Terms.
● Age Requirement: You affirm that you are at least the minimum age required by your local laws to enter into this agreement (typically 16 years or older in many jurisdictions). If you are under the required age or otherwise lack legal capacity to enter a contract, you must not use the App.
● Changes to Terms: Jobzz may update or modify these Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we will post the revised Terms within the App or on our website and update the “Effective Date” above. It is your responsibility to review the Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you should stop using the App and may delete your account.
2. User Responsibilities and Conduct
When using Jobzz AI, you agree to use the App in a lawful and respectful manner. You are solely responsible for any information you provide and your activities on the platform. By using the App, you agree that you will not engage in any of the following prohibited behaviors:
● Provide False or Misleading Information: You must provide accurate, truthful, and up-to-date information about yourself in your profile, CV, and any job applications. Creating an account with false information, impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting your identity (such as using someone else’s photo or credentials) is strictly prohibited. You may only create an account for yourself (as a real individual seeking jobs) and not for anyone else. Do not mislead others by posting incorrect information about your skills, experience, or qualifications.
● Unlawful or Abusive Activity: You may not use the App for any illegal purpose or to promote illegal activities. This includes, but is not limited to, posting or transmitting content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, abusive, obscene, pornographic, or that encourages violence or illegal acts. You agree not to engage in any form of harassment, bullying, or discrimination towards others on the platform. Hate speech, extremist content, or any content that violates any applicable laws or regulations is forbidden.
● Platform Manipulation and Security: You must not misuse or tamper with the App’s services or systems. Prohibited activities include: attempting to hack, gain unauthorized access to, or disrupt the App or its servers; introducing viruses, malware, or any other harmful code; and attempting to bypass any security features or access controls. You also agree not to use any automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or similar technologies to collect information from the platform or to interfere with other users’ experience. Any attempt to manipulate the App’s algorithms or feedback systems, or to mass-create accounts, is prohibited.
● Respect for Others’ Rights: You will not upload or share content that infringes upon the rights of others, including intellectual property rights (copyright, trademark, etc.) or privacy rights. Do not post anyone else’s personal data or photograph without their permission. If you choose to upload a profile picture or other content, you must have the rights to that content. You are also responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and are accountable for all activities that occur under your account. If you suspect any unauthorized use of your account, you must notify Jobzz immediately.
● No Spam or Commercial Exploitation: You agree not to use the App to send unsolicited advertising or promotional materials (spam) to other users. You may not use the platform to promote products or services, solicit business, or engage in recruitment on behalf of third-party companies without our prior consent. Additionally, you may not resell or commercially exploit any part of the App or access to the App without authorization.
● Consequences of Misconduct: Violation of any of the above rules or other misuse of the App may result in suspension or termination of your account at our discretion. Jobzz reserves the right to investigate any suspected breaches of these Terms and to take appropriate action, which may include removing or modifying content, suspending your privileges, or permanently disabling your account without prior notice. We may also report any illegal activities to law enforcement authorities. You understand that Jobzz is not required to provide notice or warning before suspending or terminating accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws.
3. Data Usage and Consent
Your Privacy and Data: Upix AB takes your privacy seriously. Our Privacy Policy (available via the App or our website) explains in detail how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data. By accepting these Terms and using the App, you consent to the collection, use, processing, sharing, and sale of your data by Jobzz as described here and in the Privacy Policy. This includes any personal information you provide through the App, such as your name, contact details, resume/CV, profile information, photographs, job preferences, messages, and any other data you submit or generate while using the service.
● Purpose of Data Collection: You acknowledge and agree that Jobzz may collect and process your data in order to provide and improve the job-seeking services of the App (for example, to match you with suitable job opportunities or to assist you in creating a professional profile). We may also analyze your data to personalize your experience and to maintain and enhance the functionality and security of the platform.
● Sharing and Selling of Data: By using Jobzz AI, you grant Upix AB the permission to share or sell all data you provide to us, including personal data from your CV, profile, contact information, and photo, to third parties such as recruiters, potential employers, advertisers, or other business partners. In practice, this means:
○ We may share your profile information and CV with recruiters or employers who use the platform or who are interested in candidates with your qualifications. For example, if you apply for a job through the App, your application and relevant personal details will be forwarded to the employer or recruiter offering that job.
○ We may provide or sell aggregated or individual data about our users to third-party partners, such as recruitment agencies, advertisers, analytics providers, or job market insights companies, for purposes including recruitment, marketing, or data analysis. This may include personal identifiers and details contained in your profile. You explicitly consent to such data sharing and sales by agreeing to these Terms.
○ We will only sell or share personal data in compliance with applicable data protection laws and with appropriate safeguards. User data will be handled in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other relevant laws, meaning that any third party purchasing or receiving personal data must have a legitimate purpose and security measures for handling your data. Transparency and consent are key – we disclose this data usage to you here to ensure you are aware and in agreement.
● Withdrawal of Consent: We recognize that your consent is the legal basis for us processing and sharing your personal data in the ways described above. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. If you wish to withdraw consent, you can do so by contacting us at contact@jobzz.sewith your request. Upon withdrawing consent, Jobzz will stop processing your personal data for the purposes to which the consent applied. Please note:Withdrawal of consent will not affect the legality of any data processing that occurred before you withdrew consent. For example, if your profile was already shared with a recruiter based on your prior consent, we cannot retroactively undo that sharing. Additionally, if you withdraw consent for essential data processing (such as using your profile data for job matching), certain features of the App may become unavailable to you, and we may need to deactivate or delete your account if we can no longer provide the service without your data.
● Data Rights and Privacy Policy: For further information on how we handle personal data, including data retention practices, your rights to access or correct your data, and details on data security, please refer to our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into these Terms. By agreeing to these Terms, you also agree to the terms outlined in the Privacy Policy. If there is any conflict between these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy regarding data practices, the provisions that provide greater protection to user data or clearer consent mechanisms will take precedence, consistent with applicable law.
● User Responsibility for Data: You are responsible for the accuracy of the personal data you provide. By submitting information, you confirm it is correct and relates to you. Do not upload personal data that you do not want to be shared or sold under these Terms. If you include information about third parties (for example, references in your CV), you must have the right to share that information with us.
4. Disclaimers
Jobzz AI is a platform designed to facilitate job matching and career opportunities, but we do not guarantee any specific outcomes from using our service. By using the App, you acknowledge and accept the following disclaimers:
● No Guarantee of Employment or Offers: Jobzz makes no promises or guaranteesthat using the App will result in you receiving any job offers, interviews, or employment opportunities. The App may provide you with job listings, recommendations, or tools to improve your job search, but the outcome depends on many factors outside of Jobzz’s control (such as the hiring decisions of employers). Applying to jobs or contacting recruiters through Jobzz does not guarantee an interview, job offer, or any specific result in your career.
● No Guarantee of Recruiter Response: We do not guarantee that your profile, resume, or any application you submit via the App will be viewed, accessed, or responded to by every recruiter or employer. Jobzz is not responsible if recruiters do not see or reply to your applications or profile. Once your information is shared with a third-party employer or recruiter (with your consent), the decision to review or respond to that information lies solely with them. For example, Jobzz cannot ensure that an employer will read or respond to your CV, or that technical issues will not prevent an application from being delivered. You acknowledge that there may be cases where your submissions do not reach the intended recipient, are not read, or do not elicit a response.
● Platform as a Tool, Not a Guarantee: The Jobzz AI App and its features (such as AI-based matching, job alerts, or CV assistance) are intended to support and streamline your job search. However, the platform cannot assure any specific results or success. All information (including job listings and career advice) provided through the App is for informational purposes. Jobzz does not endorse or guarantee the accuracy or reliability of any job postings, company information, or other content provided by third parties (such as employers or other users). You should independently verify information from the App before relying on it, especially before making significant decisions (like quitting a current job or relocating for a potential job).
● No Warranty on Service Availability: Jobzz strives to maintain a reliable and accessible service, but we do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times or error-free. The App and all services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without any warranty of any kind. We make no warranty that the App will meet your expectations, be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors, bugs, or harmful components.
● Limited Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Upix AB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the App. This includes, for example, any loss of opportunities, lost profits, or damages to your data or devices. In no event will Jobzz be liable for any claims arising from your interactions with employers or other users, such as if an employer misuses your information or if there are disputes between you and a potential employer. Your use of the App is at your own risk. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the service, your sole remedy is to stop using the App.
● Third-Party Content and Links: The App may contain job advertisements, links, or content provided by third parties (like employers or external job boards). Jobzz is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or reliability of third-party materials. We do not control or vet the job listings or external websites, and we do not guarantee that any third-party content is up-to-date, valid, or suitable. If you leave our App via a third-party link, be aware that those third-party terms and policies will apply to you. Jobzz disclaims any liability for actions or omissions of third parties using the platform or for any transactions or interactions you have with them.
(These disclaimers do not affect any rights or remedies you may have under mandatory law. In some jurisdictions, limitations of liability or disclaimers of warranty may not apply to you if prohibited by law.)
5. Paid Features and Service Changes
The basic functionality of Jobzz AI is provided free of charge, but we may offer additional paid features or services to enhance your job-seeking experience. Furthermore, Jobzz is continually evolving the App and reserves broad rights to change the service. Below are terms regarding paid features and changes to the service:
● Paid Features: Certain features of the App may only be available through a purchase, subscription, or one-time fee (for example, premium AI coaching, profile boosts, or other enhanced services). If you choose to access a paid feature, you will be clearly informed of the pricing and payment termsbefore you are charged. By electing to use a paid feature, you agree to pay the required fees and any applicable taxes. All payments are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise or required by law. Unauthorized or fraudulent use of credit cards or other payment methods is prohibited. We do not store your payment information beyond what is necessary to process transactions (see our Privacy Policy for details on payment data handling).
● Changes to Services and Pricing: Jobzz reserves the right to introduce new features (free or paid), and to modify or discontinue existing features, services, or pricing at any time, without prior notice. This means we may add, alter, or remove functionalities of the App as we refine our product, and we may change the cost of any service or decide to offer previously free features for a fee (or vice versa). We are not obligated to maintain any particular feature or part of the App and will not be liable to you or any third party for any decision to modify or discontinue a feature. If we update our pricing or fee structure, the new rates will apply prospectively (for future purchases or subscription renewals). We may notify active subscribers or users of significant changes in pricing or features via in-app notification or email, but we are not required to do so in all cases. If you continue to use any part of the App or a paid feature after changes are made, that use constitutes your acceptance of the new features or pricing. If you do not agree to a change, your remedy is to stop using the affected feature and/or cancel any paid subscription per the account termination procedures below.
● Promotions and Trials: Jobzz may occasionally offer promotional deals, free trials, or discounts for certain paid features. Such offers are subject to their own terms and may be modified or withdrawn at any time. If you are on a free trial and do not cancel before it ends, you may be automatically charged the applicable fee for continued use of the service after the trial period, as communicated to you in the trial offer.
6. Account Termination and Deletion
Both you and Jobzz have the right to end this agreement at any time. Here’s how account termination works for users and for Jobzz:
● User-Initiated Deletion: You have the right to delete your Jobzz AI account at any time, for any reason. You can typically delete your account through the account settings in the App. If you need assistance, you may contact us at contact@jobzz.seto request account deletion. Once your account is deleted, your profile and personal data will no longer be accessible through the App. Please note that residual copies of your data may remain in our backup systems for a short period and/or as required to comply with legal obligations, but such data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
● Jobzz-Initiated Termination or Suspension: Jobzz reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate your account (or certain functionalities of the account) at our discretion if we believe that you have violated these Terms, violated any applicable laws, or are misusing the App. Account suspension/termination may be immediate and without notice in serious cases (for example, severe abuse, fraud, or security threats). We may also suspend your account if required to do so by law enforcement or as otherwise required by law. If your account is terminated or suspended due to a breach of these Terms or unlawful conduct, you are not entitled to any compensation or recovery of unused services, and you may be barred from re-registering or using the App in the future.
● Effect of Termination: Upon termination of your account (by you or by us), your right to access and use the App will cease immediately. You must stop using the App, and you will no longer have access to your account data. However, sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (such as Data Usage and Consent, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Governing Law, etc.) will continue to apply even after the account is closed. Termination of your account does not relieve you of any obligation to pay any outstanding fees or charges (if applicable).
● Reactivation:If your account was terminated or suspended by Jobzz and you believe this was in error or you have remedied the issue, you may contact us to request reconsideration. However, Jobzz has no obligation to reactivate a terminated account.
● Data Retention After Termination: After account deletion or termination, we will handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. In general, personal data associated with your profile may be deleted or anonymized, unless we have a legitimate interest or legal obligation to retain certain data (for example, transaction records for accounting, or information required for legal disputes). Keep in mind that data you had already shared with recruiters or other users, or content you posted publicly (if such features exist), may remain accessible to those parties even after your account is removed, as those recipients may have saved or copied your information.
7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and your use of Jobzz AI are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of law principles. This means that the interpretation and enforcement of this agreement will follow Swedish law.
In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the App, the issue shall be resolved in accordance with the following provisions:
● Jurisdiction:You agree that any legal actions or proceedings arising out of or related to these Terms or the use of the App shall be brought exclusively in the courts ofStockholm, Sweden. Both you and Jobzz consent to the personal jurisdiction of the Stockholm courts and waive any objections on the grounds of inconvenient forum or other jurisdictional challenges, to the extent permitted under applicable law.
● Attempt at Amicable Resolution: Before pursuing formal legal action, we strongly encourage you to contact us to discuss and attempt to resolve any concerns or disputes. Often, issues can be resolved through customer service or informal communication. You can reach us at contact@jobzz.se for any disputes or complaints.
● Legal Fees: In any litigation arising from a dispute under these Terms, the prevailing party will be entitled to recover its reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs from the other party, to the extent allowed by law. (This clause may not apply to you in jurisdictions where attorneys’ fees are not recoverable or where such allocation is limited by consumer protection laws.)
● Consumers’ Rights: If you are using the App as a consumer (for personal, non-commercial purposes), you may have mandatory rights under your local consumer protection laws that allow you to bring a claim in your local courts or under your local law despite the Governing Law and Jurisdiction clause above. These Terms are not intended to limit any such rights that cannot be waived by contract. For example, EU consumers may have certain protections to bring claims in their home country. This Governing Law and Dispute Resolution section shall be applied to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
8. Modification of Terms
Upix AB reserves the right to modify or update these Terms of Use at any time. If we make material changes, we may notify you via the App (for example, by a pop-up notice or email), but we are not obligated to provide advance notice of minor or routine updates. It is important that you review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any changes.
● Posting of Revised Terms: When we update the Terms, we will revise the “Effective Date” at the top of this document. The latest version of the Terms will always be available within the App or on our website for you to review. We encourage you to check the Terms from time to time.
● Acceptance of Changes: By continuing to use the App after a revised set of Terms has been posted, you are agreeing to the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the App and, if necessary, delete your account. Using the App after the date on which the new Terms take effect will be considered your acceptance of those new Terms.
● No Retroactive Changes: Changes to the Terms will not apply retroactively. Any dispute between you and Jobzz that arose before the update will be governed by the Terms (and the law) in place at the time the dispute arose, unless agreed otherwise.
9. Other Provisions
● Entire Agreement: These Terms (along with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms to which you agree when using specific features) constitute the entire agreement between you and Jobzz regarding the App. They supersede all prior understandings or agreements, whether written or oral, regarding the same subject matter.
● Severability:If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be deemed severable from the Terms and will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions. The unenforceable provision will be interpreted as closely as possible to its original intent, or, if required, replaced by a valid and enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision.
● No Waiver: Jobzz’s failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver of any provision of these Terms will be effective only if in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Jobzz.
● Assignment:You may not assign or transfer any of your rights or obligations under these Terms to any third party without our prior written consent. Jobzz may freely assign or transfer this agreement (in whole or in part) as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, or by operation of law or otherwise. These Terms will bind and inure to the benefit of the parties, their successors, and permitted assigns.
● Headings: The section titles in these Terms are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect.
